WE REMEMBER THEM

from Gates of Prayer, Reformed Judaism Prayer book

In the rising of the sun and its going down

We remember them;

In the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter,

We remember them;

In the opening of buds and in the warmth of summer,

We remember them;

In the beginning of the year and when it ends,

We remember them;

When we are weary and in need of strength,

We remember them;

When we are lost and sick at heart,

We remember them;

When we have joys we yearn to share,

We remember them;

So long as we live, they too shall live,

for they are now a part of us as

We remember them.

Encouragement

    For all the negative things
    we have to say to ourselves,
    God has a positive answer for each one....

   You say: "It's impossible"
    God says: All things are possible
    (Luke 18:27)

    You say: "I'm too tired"
    God says: I will give you rest
    (Matthew 11:28-30)

    You say: "Nobody really loves me"
    God says: I love you
    (John 3:16 & John 13:34)

    You say: "I can't go on"
    God says: My grace is sufficient
    (II Corinthians 12:9 & Psalm 91:15)

    You say: "I can't figure things out"
    God says: I will direct your steps
    (Proverbs 3:5-6)

   You say: "I can't do it"
    God says: You can do all things
    (Philippians 4:13)

   You say: "I'm not able"
    God says: I am able
    (II Corinthians 9:8)

    You say: "It's not worth it"
    God says: It will be worth it
    (Roman 8:28)

    You say: "I can't forgive myself"
    God says: I FORGIVE YOU
    (I John 1:9 & Romans 8:1)

    You say: "I can't manage"
    God says: I will supply all your needs
    (Philippians 4:19)

    You say: "I'm afraid"
    God says: I have not given you a spirit of fear
    (II Timothy 1:7)

    You say: "I'm always worried and frustrated"
    God says: Cast all your cares on ME

  FROM JILL'S GRANDMA

Jill was born with a twinkle in her eyes, a smile on he face, arms
reaching out to everyone in love and beautiful tiny feet that would
dance with joy from the day she learned to walk. Jill was smart "as a whip" as they used to say in my day. She could read a book at three, knew the Lords prayer word by word at eighteen months old, and mastered the times tables at five. Her memory for children's rhymes was extraordinary and she never forgot a story that had been read to her and could recite it word for word, page for page.
When Dottie and her family moved to North Florida we lost the daily contact with her for a while, but oh how she loved to cook.. When we came to visit she would cook for us . Her biscuits were better then Grandma's.  Everything was cooked to perfection. I never saw her lose patience with the younger children, never heard her raise her voice. Always quietly loving and guiding them to a better way of life. Everyone feels the void of Jill in our daily lives, but I know from the very bottom of my heart that Jill is with us and tenderly caring for her beloved Mother and her much loved brother and sisters. I see her as a lovely young lady now; with the same twinkling eyes and the beautiful smile. Her arms are still stretched out in love, and her beautiful feet are still dancing "round and round: as she did what she loved to do best, "help Mom", share with Mom, hug Mom and the children in her daily life and forever being the caretaker of all of us. You gave me more than you received, lovely Jill, but as you watch over us from up above, see that we who are down here are stretching our arms up to you and dancing "round and round" to the song we sang at your third birthday party, "I Love You Truly, Truly Dear." I still to this day am very honored for you to be my namesake Jill Kathryn Watson when your mother named you Kathryn I cried and I cried and I cried but those were happy tears. I miss you Jill and I will always Love you Jill.

Grandma Malocsay.

FROM JILL'S UNCLE AND AUNT

Every now and then, God shares with us one of his most precious angels. The light and love of these angels live on in our hearts and memories, even though our years with them are few. JILL KATHRYN WATSON is one such angel.  She came into the world a little more than 19 years ago. Jill was blessed with bright eyes, a winning smile, and a warm, sweet heart and soul that touched anyone who ever saw her. One could not help but think, "God bless that beautiful girl."

Jill was so special that God lent her to the world for just a little while to share in the joy of her.

Sadly for us, God needed her and called her home.

God does not t ell us how long one will stay. If we knew, maybe we would have done some things differently. But, the truth is, that we would probably do things much the same - and the same is good. There can never be one last hug or kiss; because one is never enough.

All we can do is thank God for the time spent and the love shared. Heaven's gain is our loss, but, we do not really lose, because, one of God's most precious angels is keeping her loving eyes on us. Thank you, Jill. God Bless.

We Love You So Much,

Uncle Barry, Aunt Vicki, Melissa and Michael

When I met Jill she was at what was probably the loneliest and saddest point in her life but when I told her about Jesus she embraced Him with ever fiber of her being.  This was evidenced when she led her Mom to the Lord  within days of meeting Him herself.  Her favorite Bible verse was "I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me."  Philippians 4:13.  Jill was full of the very joy of living.  Her energy and enthusiasm will be remembered.  Being part of her life was a privilege that I shall always treasure.

You are Listening to:Candle in the Wind by Elton John

May you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself
Where lives were torn apart
You called out to our country
And you whispered to those in pain
Now you belong to heaven
And the stars spell out your name
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before
Your legend ever will
Loveliness we've lost
These empty days without your smile
This torch we'll always carry
For our nation's golden child
And even though we try
The truth brings us to tears
All our words cannot express
The joy you brought us through the years
Chorus
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned our long before
Your legend ever will
Goodbye England's rose
May you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself
Where lives were torn apart
Goodbye England's rose
From a country lost without your soul
Who'll miss the wings of your compassion
More than you'll ever know
Chorus
